IoT4Industry at the Austrian IoT Day, in Vienna

It was only 4 days after formal closing of the IoT4Industry project, when we’ve got an opportunity to present the project results at the Austrian IoT Day in Vienna. We’re 3D printing !

After the first troubles with the material feeder, we decided to change the initial filament and move from soft/ flexible PLA (Polylactic Acid) to standard ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene). The result is: we are 3D printing now!    

Ultimaker 2 3D Printer has arrived at Salzburg Research

Our first Ultimaker 2 3D printer arrived at Salzburg Research. We ordered Ultimaker 2 for the purpose of managing our experimenting settings with IoT, security, and privacy topics in two of our recently started projects.

IoT4Industry, a new exploratory project

Welcome to the IoT4Industry project space for communicating our recent experiences in developing IoT know-hows around the future industry and manufacturing. IoT4Industry stands for “Secure, Privacy-preserving Agents for the Industrial Internet”, and is an exploratory project funded by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency, for the period October 2014 – September 2015.
